Memorial Day: Thanks to Our Armed Services Members

Just a note that today is not just a day off.

Thanks to all Armed Service members for all times through out the decades, past, present, and future.

 I think about you all frequently. Thanks for serving.  I appreciate it greatly and never take you for granted.

Using the tBlog Editor (Basic Edition)

There are three types of editors -- plain, simple, and advanced view.  We are talking about the advanced view in this tutorial and the features you have to create a post. Follow along using the diagram and text below.

First Row - top

Bold, Italic, Underline Strikeout - highlight your words and click on the look you wish to have.

Alignment of text left, center, right, align full

Java drop down boxes:
Styles
Paragraph: preformatted and header sizes
Font family and Font Size

Second Row - middle

Cut (scissors), copy (papers). paste (clipboard), paste from Word document

Find (binoculars) -- if you are looking for something specific in your long post.

Find and replace -- just what it says

Unordered  and ordered lists

Outdent and Indent

Undo and Redo arrows -- redo to original undo if you don't like it.

Links (circled) highlight text, click on, insert URL into box and pick your target.

Insert or edit an anchor

Add a picture to a post (tree icon circled)) -- have the URL, click open the tree, a box comes up where you just paste the URL into the box, make any adjustments to size, border, etc and close.  Picture should show up in your post.  You can box it and align it.

Clean up a messy code -- eliminate it.

Question mark -- where you can find some help if you are stuck.

HTML (circled) - open this up and see the code, you can correct anything from there.  Also you need to use this box if you have copy and paste codes.  Close the box and you should see it in your post.

Font color -- highlight the font to change the color
AB -- add a highlight to a set of words like this.

Third Row -- Last, bottom

Add a table -- you need to play with these to see how they work.  The table below is centered.
All other tools show up for tables once you click it on.  Tables are good for lists.

 Fill in the infoType in the dotted boxes! 
 and this is how it should look  This is 2 rows, 2 columns




Horizontal Rule -- just click it on and it comes up.  Change color or length by opening up the HTML box and editing.



Remove formatting

Toggle Guidelines and Invisible Elements

Insert custom characters (the horseshoe icon)

Smiley face - emoticons  Kiss

Spell check - IE spellcheck, if you don't have it, it allows you to download it.

Insert or edit a horizontal rule  -- you can adjust length and thickness.
