Disappointment
Just a quick post on my disappointment and
some interesting observations around here.I noticed the new search users box by username, location, or age.
The age box is a bit touchy, especially with the teens that populate here.
However, there are all the cities on the main page that you can find someone in with a click. Why the box?
I noticed that it replaced the search TBlog Google search and that is what I am disappointed in, it is gone.
Sometimes I would look for articles on subjects using that tool to visit other people's blogs.
Unfortunately, I don't know who is writing what and hence a subject search to find a user is really useless to me, maybe some others too.
With the new feature, I don't know the username to find a subject article.
I like using finding the subject/content matter better.
But I guess if TBlog is trying to become a dating service type blog, this type of change would be necessary.
I wish the TFriends feature was fixed before this change.
And if you look at your account thre are now tips. Like tip #7 -- you get 5 Tbucks for posting, 1 for commenting, and 25 for referring friends.
Check and post what other tips you see on your account page.
Do you have any TBlog feature wishes? What are they?
I will sit here with my box of tissues sobbing over this loss.

Well, I just am talking to my self -- I just tried to check the TBlog tip page and I got nothing so I guess it is a hit or miss situation. Not sure.

Things aren't ever quite right around here. I suppose I can't expect great things from a service I get for free. I'd NEVER put up with Tblog if I were a paying member.
I wish they'd bring back tbuck sharing, because I've got a bazillion and nothing to do with them.
I wish they'd put something worth while in the store so I could use some of those blasted tbucks.
I wish I could cut and paste into the "advanced" blog post engine.
I wish they'd take off the stupid red boarder on my blog like I've asked 5 million times. (Left over from my days as a black and red blog.)
I wish Rocky and Nickster were more reliable.
(I feel like a little kid making her Christmas list!)
I wish the "Reply" button next to the comments would work so I didn't have to type out "reply to:" all the time.
I wish the "Warning: [blah blah blah]" would go away.
I wish there were a reliable way to contact the admins, besides the chat box when they happen to be on.
I wish preceptlady and graceshaker would come back.
Oh and world peace.

Ok, this is the second time I am attempting to post. I got that gray box that I was not permitted to say something.
So -- I hope you feel better venting.
I can understand your frustration.
I bet the service is now free because of the bugs. I bet once they work them out, it may be a different story.
I never noticed the red border on your blog. I will have to check it out next time.
I have emailed concerns to support(at)tblog(dot)com and gotten replies.
Poor LadyG has not had much luck with them either.
I have not used any TBucks yet because there is nothing I want.

a dating service type blog???? hmm??? anyone in Thailand?? lol Joking :P I don't get the point of searching for age and username either. I normally just read some interesting topic name on recent blogs.
But I wish tBlog had something like 'sell/give your tbucks to other users' :P you know I had like 1xxx before (or so), but I never used it, and then when I checked again, there were like 0, so I think it'd be better if I can give to someone else who wants it. Or maybe tBlog should have more interesting items, so I could spend myself :)

hmmm....just thinking that, I had more like 3xxx, and yea, it just automatically deleted itself :os I don't know if it was just me, or tBlog always does that to anyone who never spent tbucks.

Features? I'd like a few more templates for blog creation. And I'd like for it to be more straitforward; I have to hit and miss with my blog changes, since I know nothing about html.

LadyG lost all her TBucks when there was an overhaul that is what might have happened to you but you did not know it.
Yes, I like to just click on a topic but sometimes it is spam blog and that is disappointing. I guess there is no way you can tell. I suppose just milling around TBlog from time to time you find the people who have great readable blogs and you just have to bookmark them since the tfriends is down. I just wish that it would work, I would ask all of you to be my friend!

Yes, more templates. On my template, the simple one, I cannot add a nice background and I wish I could instead of a hex color.
It would be nice if TBlog had a webshot of the template with numbers next to each item so it could easily be identified with the proper code.

I'm a pretty recent tblogger, so I've never really known it any different.
The T-matches do make me scratch my head a little, since mine are all pirate DVD spammers - wierd!

Gee, I never checked out my matches although I really don't need one but it would be fun to see if I fair any better than you with the pirates. LOL
Since you are new to TBlog like myself, in just a few months there have been a few changes. Yesterday, the change to the search was upsetting.
As stated, the TFriends is not working, and some of the old tymers here seem to see a great deal more changes (and most they say, not for the betterment) than you or I.
Wonder what is next?

It'd be nice to be able to manage comments from the entry's page, rather than having to go to that barely managable comments page.
That's my vote. We used to be able to delete comments from the same place we posted them. I miss that.

Yes Cutter -- that feature really should be brought back. It is so silly to have to go through a page of comments to delete some since they have absolutely no order! But then again, some people reply to old posts and then you see them on that page.
And when a blogpost is deleted, as in someone closing down their blog, or just deleting a post, I noticed that the comments, if I were to click on the bloggers comment to me to view their blog, all the comments remain! What a waste of server space.
It is too bad that if people want to delete their blogs, they can't do it on their own. It would save Nick and Rocky tons of time if people could do it on their own and with a delete, everything is gone, blog, profile, comments, off the hot blog list, off the featured blog list on the front page. So a deleted blog, one would have no access to it period.
It would be nice also, if there were a page where we can see all posts we made in other peoples blogs.
It would be nice to be able to edit our comments or delete a comment from other people's blogs also.
One thing I really like about this place is the community spirit.

I like that I can't delete my own blog. If I can delete it, that means someone else can too, and passwords are often stolen.
As for the comments page... well, why can't we have both? It must be possible somehow.
