EZ Snack: Gorp
Easy, no fault snack to make with all dry ingredients. Great for travelling.
2 cups of Honey Nut Cheerios
1 package of 12 oz chocolate chips or M&Ms or a combo of the both or BOTH!
1 - 7 oz jar of sunflower seeds
1 - 9 oz container of honey roasted peanuts or toffee peanuts
You can also add dry fruit, dates or raisins to this if you so desire.
Mix all together and keep in a sealed container to keep fresh for a few days.
This is also great for fundraisers (especially at school) if you put a quarter to a half of cup into a ziplock bag sell for a dollar a piece.

Tomorrow I go on a ten-mile hike, on a section of the Appalachian Trail in north Georgia. We will start out in the cold. Some gorp along the way would be nice.

First and only [variety] gorp was made with granola and not oatios (cheerios.)
The mess - was deliciously melted together. On camping trips in cold weather, the snack was a true life-saver!
Thanks, Inkspector, for reminding me of those times. (I took gorp with me, while hiking the Apalachian Trail alone with my dog, Piggie. It was a real epic adventure for yours truly!)

So gorp and trailmix are the same?
I could practically live on trailmix! As long as it has blueberries in it. Dried of course ;)

I would say so, there is so much variety.
Blueberries are a good idea.
