Bad experience all around, hope you will get a generator soon and glad that you and the family are okay.

Oh wow ~ so glad you are all right and back to a normal routine.

I know I had heard of the massive power outage on the east coast and could relive my experiences of such a same situation ~ horrible. I was without power just a couple of weeks ago, not weather related, but was out of power for over twelve hours ~ and it was cold ~ but in my condo it didn't get too cold, and I bundled up with sweats, etc. I alway have a supply of water on hand, because we just never know. I don't drink bottled water all the time but it is nice to have it in case of 'emergencies' of any magnitude.

Take care.

wow. it's good you're reasonably OK-- makes you appreciate being able to sleep in your own bed, doesn't it?

Yes, let a little time go by and it will be a memory however a big memory for my children.

I don't know which is worst, too much snow or ice storms.

Yes, if you see Santa, then please, put in the word for me, maybe we won't have to wait so long.

Yes, and I am glad we got it back!
Still feel sorry for those who don't have it and have to wait so long to get it back.

We must be strong for the children...
Do you still have trees down that need removal?
Glad you have power again.

Usually without power is without heat!! and cooking!! I've been praying for the people in that power outage...Hope they all come through OK...I've always wanted a small generator, to have at least heat!!

Glad everything is fine and the power etc has been back for a while. Sitting in tropical Singapore 'tho I have to say that those iced-up branches look incredibly beautiful is a very frigid kind of way. As long as you're indoors sitting by a fire looking through a window at them...
