Weather Wise

I hope it cools down -- soon!

After my last post, we lost power twice in a 24 hour period, late Friday evening (3 hours)and then on Saturday afternoon (2 hours). Saturday afternoon was not too bad, it was still light out, it is when it is night and you lose it that is the problem.

I call the electric company immediately when the power goes off and they always tell me that if they do not hear from the other neighbors, I am last on the list to fix. Most of the neighbors are on vacation so of course, they can't call.

Strange urge of a habit I have of wanting to clean in the dark when the power is off, that or play the piano to entertain myself.

It must be terrible to be without power that long. at least you can play the piano.

We recently lost our electricity for more than a couple hours and it really reminded me how much I absolutely rely on it to do almost everything. Hope everything is better now.

The weather here has actually continued to be cooler than normal. Our whole summer has been that way except for a few weeks mixed in. I don't mind that much though, my favorite weather is the Autumn/Fall time anyways.

Did you get any effects from the hurricane Bill? Perhaps you are not in any direct line for that. Hope things settle soon.

Playing piano a great idea..not much else you can do in a dark house..even with candles or lanterns!! Give a concert!! imagine an audience!!
